Leading Abuja based property development company, Urban Shelter Limited on Saturday held its Staff Recognition and Award night 2018, honouring staff who performed exceptionally in the past year, at a night of glitz and glamour.

At this year’s edition which was held at the prestigious Hawthorn Suites Abuja, Management, staff and well-wishers came out in all their finery for some fun and relaxation.
The Chairman, Urban Shelter Limited, Mallam Ibrahim Aliyu, said that the company chose this day to reward staff who had worked hard to ensure that the company remains a leading Real Estate company in Abuja.
He said “It is a time to reward dignity, hard work, and excellence in execution, and to tell staff that we appreciate what they have been doing, their dedication to duty, and the quality of projects they deliver’’.
He said with the commitment of the staff, Urban Shelter Limited has been able to carry out 71 projects in Abuja, he added that the company is about to start its first ever project in the south east, in Enugu state.
The Managing Director, Urban Shelter Limited, Mallama Sadiya Aliyu Aminu, who spoke about the company’ challenges and achievements in the past year and prospects of the company in coming years, commended the staff for their hard work and resilience that made 2018 a rewarding year, especially with the commencement of their 1st project in Lagos, and the completion of the Apo Resettlement market.
According to her, the Staff Recognition and Award night is part of what the company does to appreciate the good works and efforts put in by the staff to assist the company align with its vision and mission.
A number of staff were rewarded during the event in various categories for their exceptional activities aimed at improving the company’s fortunes. Amongst those who were given awards were Talatu Inemodia,who won the award for most punctual senior cadre staff of the year.
Faith Adejo took home the most punctual middle cadre award, while most punctual junior cadre award went to Mohammed Ibrahim.
Mohammed Aliyu Bello won team lead of the year award, as Bala Abdullahi won the deal facilitator of the year award.
While congratulating the recipients of the various awards in different categories, The Chairman Mallam Ibrahim Aliyu,urged all of them as well as other staff to continue to work hard and to do more to justify the confidence given to them.
In attendance at the event were family, friends and associates of Urban Shelter Limited.
