Stakeholders in the Nigerian housing industry will today host a send Off dinner in honour of the immediate past Managing Director/CEO of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN), Arc. Ahmed Dangiwa.
According to a statement released by the coordinator of the event, Festus Adebayo, who is the executive director of the Housing Development Advocacy Network (HDAN), the send off programme is organized as part of efforts to appreciate and extol the contributions of the former FMBN boss to the development of the bank during his tenure.
He said: “The stakeholders, having appraised his performance, have scored him a pass mark. It’s on that note that they have decided to do this as a means of appreciation with the purpose of encouraging others who are holding public positions especially in the area of housing delivery and finance.
“We see this as a push for them to know that people are monitoring their activities and are ready to appreciate them if they do well and if they refuse to do well, their absence will not be felt let alone appreciating them.”
Recall that Dangiwa stepped down on Friday, April 8, 2022, on the completion of the Executive Management Team’s 5-year tenure.
Meanwhile, expected at the send forth dinner are leaders in the housing industry most especially professional bodies, mortgage and real estate experts, among others.
The event is scheduled to hold at the 805 restaurant and lounge, Aminu Kano Crescent, Abuja.
