Shelter Afrique, pan African housing finance organisation will host Nigerian housing finance stakeholders at the 15th Abuja International Housing Show (AIHS) scheduled to hold between 26th-29th of July 2021 at International Conference Centre, Abuja.
In an interaction with the coordinator of Abuja International Housing Show, Festus Adebayo, he said that the 4th day of AIHS has been marked for Shelter Afrique to interact, network with housing practitioners and stakeholders from various parts of Nigeria and those who will be coming from outside the country.
According to him, the focus of the meeting will be an avenue for practitioners and real estate developers in Nigeria can ask questions on matters relating to accessing funding for low cost housing through shelter Afrique.
The AIHS Coordinator said that complaints in the past over exchange rate, title documentation are part of issues that will be addressed during the course of the interaction.
Adebayo said all practitioners in the housing industry are encouraged to participate and attend the forum and meet with Chief Executives and management team of Shelter Afrique.
On the same day, Adebayo said that Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria(REDAN) will be signing an Mou with Shelter Afrique. The focus of the Mou will be on how to commence construction of houses in each of the political zones in Nigeria which will be sponsored by Shelter Afrique.
‘’The fourth day of the AIHS is, therefore, meant for networking with CEOs of Govt owned Housing Finance institutions, there will also be REDAN workshop ,’’ he added.
