The Oyo State government has demolished a building reportedly owned by Modupe Onitiri-Abiola, one of the alleged sponsors of the recent attack on the government secretariat.
This action comes in response to the incident where individuals claiming to be Yoruba nation agitators attempted to take over the State House of Assembly on Saturday.
The building, where Onitiri-Abiola allegedly declared support for the Yoruba nation, was demolished on Wednesday. Fatai Owoseni, the Special Adviser on Security Matters to Governor Seyi Makinde, confirmed the demolition to journalists, directing them to seek further details from the Commissioner of Police.
