Nigeria’s most revolutionary telecommunications company, NTEL has announced that it will be the official Telecoms partner of the Africa International Housing Show (AIHS) at its 16th annual housing and construction expo billed for 25 to 28 July, 2022.
According to the company’s Chief Sales Officer, Mr. Inusa Bello during an exclusive interview on Monday, NTEL will be providing free internet service for participants at the forthcoming 16th AIHS event to ease interaction amongst participants.
While expressing the company’s readiness to offer the best services, he said the company is elated to partner with the largest housing show as he looks forward to a great collaboration with robust benefits.
“We look forward to greater relationships with AIHS. This marks our second appearance at the event and the very first time we are collaborating to be their official Telecoms partner”, he said.
Speaking on the performance of the company over the years, Bello noted that NTEL is one of the very large mobile broad-bands in Nigeria offering 4GLT and super fast internet broadband services, adding that the company has been in existence since 2015.
He revealed that the inception of NTEL replaced the defunct NITEL after it was bought over from the owners, saying: “We are present in three major cities in Nigeria; Abuja, Lagos and Portharcourt with the goal of reaching out to more states within the next 2 years”.
Responding to how the organization would enhance smart city development in the country, Bello stipulated that based on the major drive and theme of the 16th AIHS, he looks forward to working with key actors in the housing sector to achieve more digital homes in Nigeria.
He stated that digitization is impossible without internet services, and as a result, NTEL telecom will help achieve the vision of smart homes, as the world goes digital.
“Ideally, network providers and the housing industry are supposed to partner from the
beginning, right before construction begins. But in most cases, it is after they are done with the construction they remember that the infrastructure needs a network broadband and they start seeking how to include that” he noted.
He went on to say that provision of network broadband should be included in the cost of construction as it forms a vital part of every structure.
While noting that its services have been deployed by some real estate establishments, he revealed that NTEL is in talks with other developers across states of the Federation.
“We also provide linking services that enable people to connect from different parts of the world” he added.
In his message to stakeholder in the housing sector ahead of the forthcoming construction and housing expo, Bello urged all actors in the sector to be part of the the event, saying housing is a major aspect of infrastructural development which is crucial to a country’s economic development.
He lauded the coordinator of AIHS, Festus Adebayo for his initiatives in the housing sector, as he also commended his efforts towards making the housing industry thrive in Nigeria and Africa at large.
