Lafarge Africa Plc. has recorded Net sales up 27.1 per cent above the previous year and recurring Earning Before Interest and Taxes (EBIT) up 42.6 per cent as well as a Net income up 65.4 per cent in its 2021 Financial Year.
This was disclosed in a statement showing its Financial Year result of 2021.
The CEO of Lafarge Africa Plc., Khaled El Dokani, said about the results: “Our 2021 performance showed significant improvement, with net sales of +27.1%, recurring EBIT of +42.6% and net income of +65.4%, compared to FY 2020 results.
“We are equally pleased with the progress we are making on sustainability; our use of affordable clean energy and agro-ecology footprint is in accordance with our net-zero pledge journey.
“We recorded a robust free cash flow after the lease of N43.4bn and a strengthened Balance Sheet with a net cash position of N 26.8bn.
He further stated that the company would continue to maximise volume opportunities across its markets and actively manage costs in the coming years.
