Six residential houses and one plaza in Maiduguri belonging to the embattled former Intelligence Response Team chief, Abba Kyari, have been marked for investigation by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) on Monday.
Assurance Plaza, a two-story retail mall on Maiduguri’s Giwa Barracks Road, has about 100 stores.
The NDLEA had also identified six other residential residences in Maiduguri’s New Government Residential Area that reportedly belonging to the suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police.
This comes just 48 hours after NDLEA operatives in Lagos apprehended a suspected drug dealer related to the N3 billion worth of tramadol intercepted by the then Kyari-led IRT team.
