The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Kano State has arrested seven suspects for allegedly vandalizing cables at various locations in the state.
The suspects were arrested following a surveillance by a team from the NSCDC, in conjunction with vigilante officials.

The NSCDC spokesman, DSC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi, confirmed the arrest to journalists in Kano on Thursday.
He said the suspects would be charged in court with conspiracy, vandalism, and receiving stolen property
Abdullahi urged residents to report any suspicious activities to the NSCDC or other security agencies.
He also warned criminals to desist from their activities, as the NSCDC will not hesitate to bring them to justice.
