A portion of the Asokoro District Hospital has been engulfed by fire.
According to Sources, the raging inferno was extending to the main building of the hospital, thereby signaling fear to patients.
However, the Police and other security operatives have barricaded the scene, thereby stopping people from gaining access into the premises.
Men of the Federal Fire Service have arrived at the hospital to put out the fire as well as restore normalcy to the hospital environment.
The cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained as of the time of filing this report.
