The Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Mohammed Adamu has earlier today, Wednesday launched the Nigeria Police Radio 99.1 Fm Abuja.
The community-based radio which is located in the premises of the National Institute of Police Studies (NIPS), Jabi, by Kado Fish Market Junction, adjacent Polaris Bank is targeted at bringing the Police closer to the people.
According to Adamu, the radio which has since commenced test transmission will serve as a veritable avenue for the Nigeria Police to engage, enlighten and inform the public on policing activities and other security related matters.
