Real estate player has reportedly started to handover at its 290-unit Al Lilac neighbourhood that features three to five-bedroom villas and townhouses
Sharjah-based Al Zahia is said to be on track for its scheduled 2023 completion, and one of the key milestones that support the project’s completion target is the beginning of the handover of homes within its Al Lilac neighbourhood.
The Al Lilac neighbourhood, one of the six within the development, features 290 units including three to five-bedroom villas and townhouses.
Handover at the neighbourhood follows the previous handover of homes in Al Jouri and Al Narjis in 2017 and 2018 respectively.
Once complete, Al Zahia will also be home to The Clubhouse, which features two resort-style swimming pools, a gymnasium, a signature restaurant, and a private park.
Al Zahia also includes a footbridge that provides direct access to the newly opened City Centre Al Zahia.
The megaproject will also be home to North Hub, an upcoming retail destination that will provide residents access to more than 900m2 of retail offerings, including Carrefour, a coffee shop, and a pharmacy.
”This handover moment marks a new chapter for Al Zahia and the people of Sharjah. It vindicates our optimism for the future and underlines the region’s potential for growth and capacity for innovation”, said Walid Al Hashimi, Sharjah Holding’s CEO.
Al Hashimi added: “It also speaks to the strong demand for masterplanned gated communities, such as Al Zahia.”
Al Zahia is part of the strategic partnership between Majid Al Futtaim Properties and Sharjah Asset Management, which upon completion will include a total of 3,700 homes. To date, 64% of the project has been sold, and more than 800 families have moved to the development.
