For anybody coming across him for the very first time, Adebayo strikes you as a businessman who wants instant results. Festus Adebayo is marking his new age with an increased determination of making Abuja International Housing Show (AIHS), Africa’s biggest housing and construction expo,a forum that brings together all real estate stakeholders to discuss and display sector trends, greater.
The 15th edition of the annual housing show is expected to attract around 20,000 local and foreign participants including exhibitors. Primarily, the housing exhibition is part of Adebayo’s drive to ensure that Nigerians have ample opportunity to build affordable houses with necessary durable materials. Like in the previous editions, exhibitors from foreign countries like the Netherlands, China, Hong Kong, South Africa, Turkey, Spain, and lots more.
Exhibitors will be showcasing the latest trends, home interiors, mass housing products, roofing, home accessories, among others. Experts from the World Bank, International Financial Cooperation and the Centre for Finance of Affordable Housing in South Africa would participate in the show to resolve housing problems.
Adebayo says participants are set to feature in the show for a practical solution to the housing needs of people. “Th e 2021 housing show will not be a talk-show. We are departing from talk only norm. We will be offering a practical solution as exhibitors will be divided into groups’’, Adebayo said.
Since 2005, AIHS has been offering real estate stakeholders an additional medium for networking, meeting visitors who have a buying capability – face to face and sealing deals.
