The department of the state service DSS has discovered the killers of Indian expatriates of West Africa Ceramics who was killed by an unknown gunmen during attacked on August 5th, 2022 in Ajaokuta LGA of Kogi state.
The DSS made this known in a press release signed by the public relations officer Mr. Peter Afunanya to notify the public on the arrest of the those who orchestrated the burnt of vehicles improvised which led to the explosion near the Palace of Ohinoyi of Ebiraland and also the killer of the Indian expatriate of west Africa ceramics in Ajaokuta.
They arrested Abdulmumin Ibrahim Otaru (aka Abu Mikdad) and some members of his gang including Saidu Suleiman on the 3rd of January 2023.
According to the release by the DSS, it has also been revealed that Abdulmumin killer of late inspector Idris Musa was a high commander of Islamic state west Africa province (ISWAP) who perpetuated on numerous atrocities including the attack on West African Ceramics Ltd in Ajaokuta LGA, Kogi state on 5th August, which killed 2 policeman, alongside 5 other persons including 1 Indian and 2 drivers of the company were killed, 2 Indian expatriate were kidnapped and were released on the 31st August 2022. This is unconnected to the attacked on Nigerian police force command, Eika-Ohizenyi on the 24th June 2022.
Abdulmumin, in the release has performed many kidnapping and killing operations within and outside Kogi state.
Mr. Peter Afunanya, restate its “commitment to the safety of the nation. It assures to work assiduously with stakeholders including sister security agencies to tackle the menace of terrorism and other forms of criminality and threats to national security. It, therefore, calls on citizens to support it and other law enforcement organisations with relevant information and all the necessary cooperation required to achieve a peaceful country”
