Digitalising census process for credible and accurate data
The Federal Commissioner of the National Population Commission (NPC) in Zamfara, Muttaka Rini, has revealed that the digitalising of Nigeria’s 2023 population and housing census would ensure transparency and accountability in the exercise. Rini noted that digital census would generate accurate and credible data required for citizens, irrespective of their locations. The previous census had used paper and pen, whereas the digital census process will produce more accurate and reliable data.
