A number of housing sector professionals will be speaking on the theme: “Imperatives of virtual exhibitions: the case of Abuja International Housing Show (2020),” which will be an enlightenment session about why virtual conferences and exhibitions are now important and how brands can leverage on them for maximum benefits.

In a statement signed by the Chief Organiser of the event, Festus Adebayo, the purpose is to educate the generarality of their partners on how to participate, connect, download products information and videos and how to interact with visitors and bring them to their booths during the virtual exhibition.
Adebayo said that virtual events are now a global order because of the current restrictions on physical events. However, the world is adapting fast and taking advantage of the situation to keep life going and fashion out innovative ways to continue businesses and sales for companies and brands, especially those that participate yearly in the prestigious Abuja International Housing Show.
This webinar is therefore an opportunity for these partners and would be partners to interact with the organizers and seek clarifications on how they can register, participate, market and make the most of this year’s virtual AIHS.
The organisers reveal that based on their experience, they can confidently inform their partners that the benefits of participating in the virtual show is perhaps more than the physical one.
“In terms of the number of people we are going to have in the virtual edition, we can say that our partners will have more reach this time, especially in the international market. Global brands that have been unable to participate in the physical editions because of travel issues will be able to conveniently participate in this one from the comfort of their countries. So our partners and brands will be interacting this time with more audience, and a richer one at that. And all this for a cheaper rate compared to the physical event,” Adebayo said.
He said that the Abuja International Housing Show has always been a world event and will continue to pull stakeholders from well over 20 countries including USA, UK, UAE, India, China, Turkey, South Africa, Ghana, Kenya, Liberia among others. This is a special and rare opportunity for brands and companies to connect with new clients and partners from all over the world.
The virtual show will guarantee participants the best use of their time, immediate and controlled interaction with their audience, and can relate with more people than could have been possible in a small physical booth.
Like previous events, this year’s edition will have over 26 international speakers, at least 100 exhibitors and thousands of participants across the world. Leading construction company, Cosgrove has already booked a prominent sponsorship position in the virtual show, with many more already negotiating their participation.
Exhibitors will for 4 days chat directly with visitors online, take them through a virtual tour of their projects and products and various sites in any part of Nigeria or beyond.
Home interiors and building materials companies will enjoy the same benefits and expand their reach in the local and global markets. All these from the comfort of their offices or project sites.
This webinar, according to the statement, will also expose majority of housing stakeholders to new skills in digital and virtual marketing as various international speakers have confirmed participation.
The webinar is therefore not only an opportunity to learn more about how to benefit from this year’s event, but also how to develop skills that are now very important and inevitable in the new world order, where the virtual world is now the reality.
The 4 days event will be televised by Housing Program on AIT, TVC, and other cable and virtual networks. This, according to the organizers are premium benefits for their partners, especially their sponsors who will even enjoy between one week to one-month free airtime on television.
