Convener of the Africa International Housing Show AIHS, Festus Adebayo has reechoed readiness for the 17th edition of the Africa International Housing Show.
While speaking to newsmen in Abuja, Adebayo noted that Africa International Housing Show is a unique platform where stakeholders in the housing and construction industry meet to interact, network, exchange ideas and make sales via exhibition.
“AIHS has become a neutral platform where practitioners, professionals, buyers, sellers, and all stakeholders in the real estate industry come together,” he added.
Speaking on the uniqueness of the 17th AIHS, Adebayo said AIHS is established to promote development in the African housing industry by bringing leading stakeholders across various countries in Africa and beyond to exchange ideas, share the latest trends, and knowledge, network and interact on ways to solve the affordable housing problem in Africa come July 23rd – July 27th, 2023.
“Being the first of its kind under the new administration, this year’s event promises to be action-packed”.
With the theme “Beyond Rhetoric to Homes: Making Housing Happen” Adebayo added that a new spice has been introduced for 2023 AIHS, which is the U-40 professionals meet up, which he tagged “New Generation of Affordable Housing leaders”.
“This year’s AIHS will focus on the new generation of real estate professionals across the board who will take over the housing industry.
“From humble beginnings over a decade ago, the AIHS has grown to become the largest housing and construction exhibition on the African continent, attracting the participation of critical stakeholders from different parts of the world.”
“The Africa International Housing Show brings together under one roof specialized indigenous and foreign manufacturers of building materials and equipment, world-class interior decorators, genuine state-of-the-art estate developers, architectural and construction giants, dealers in building and housing products, mortgage finance and refinancing institutions, federal agencies saddled with the responsibility of ensuring decent and affordable housing for citizens, and specialized institutions in construction and environmental safety, among others.
“The AIHS is a one-stop shop to secure the best of residential and office building and other construction needs.
“In view of the fact that the AIHS is a one-stop marketplace, it saves valuable resources and time trying to secure the various components of your housing and construction needs from different locations.
“It also provides a veritable platform to get the best deals with mortgage finance institutions, estate developers, and other service providers in the built sector. More so, it exposes people and organizations to new options of cost-effective housing financing.”
“The show attracts more than 15,000 participants and over 400 exhibitors from several countries. The show also offers opportunities to make direct bulk sales and direct buying at wholesale prices and highly discounted rates.”
“Most importantly, in view of the fact that the convener of the Abuja International Housing Show is the owner of the largest housing online news portal and promoter of Housing Development programs on television and radio broadcast stations, including AIT, TVC, NTA, and Raypower FM, it is a guarantee that participants and exhibitors will get optimum publicity at almost no cost to boost their sales.”
“It is worthy of note that the AIHS enjoys massive pre-event advertisement and publicity on traditional and new media as well as on billboards at strategic locations.”
“The publicity is further reinforced with sustained media coverage of the event and live streaming on all social media platforms. It accords indigenous and foreign investors opportunities to initiate international property projects and helps to maintain.
Highlighting major achievement of AIHS, Adebayo noted that through the platform major policies have been affected positively, the database of land registry in a good number of states have also been achieved, and AIHS has also assisted over 20,000 Nigerians to own a home through the platform.
