AIHS 2022: Over 200 Housing CEOs In Africa Set To Engage Political Leaders On Housing
Over 200 Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) from various firms and organizations in the construction and built industry across Africa and other parts of the world will gather in Abuja from July 25 to 28 for the 16th edition of the annual Abuja International Housing Show (AIHS), now Africa International Housing Show.
The experts are expected to present housing market forecasts as well as evaluate issues related to employment, home prices, production, security, demand and supply, among other issues affecting the industry and nation at large.
According to Mr Festus Adebayo, Chief Executive Officer of International Housing and Construction Show Ltd, and organizer of the annual highly celebrated international event, the 16th edition of the programme themed: “HOUSING FOR ALL – THE ROLE OF GOVERNMENTS IN CREATING AN EFFECTIVE ENABLING ENVIRONMENT” would welcome both home-based and high level delegation of international diplomats and foreign ministers of works and housing sharing expertise views on housing, construction, mortgage, and real estate management.
Adebayo was quoted as saying; “AIHS is a gathering of high-profile individuals who are founders and business owners, where organizational issues are discussed, as well as channeling ways forward. It is a collaborative and supportive atmosphere for Nigerian real estate sector and mortgage banks leaders. Taking part in the forum will no doubt boost high-level business interaction.”
“It will also provide an opportunity to meet counterparts within and outside the country in order to network commercial contacts.” With the world evolving at such a rapid pace, it is really quite important for all of these top leaders to get together for the purpose of growth. Diverse thoughts and experiences from various locations will tremendously assist participants in developing more adaptive and effective strategies.
He noted that no fewer than ten commercial banks would be gracing the event as new participants for the purpose of the B2B meeting between commercial banks and real estate investors.
Also on the list is the interaction through B2B meeting between Edge building/IFC, the FCT administration, some state government representatives and real estate development companies.
