Adkan Services Nigeria Ltd, the developers of Sun City Estate, Abuja, are currently scaling-up their architectural masterpiece in the Federal Capital City.
Executive Director of the real estate company, Babatunde Olaleke, an engineer, said in an exclusive interview on Wednesday that Adkan is committed to meeting the housing taste of all segments of the society.
At the moment, the company is making a bold professional statement with its majestic Monarch Garden In the Life Camp axis of Abuja.
The fully finished royal garden consists of 37 duplexes and luxury duplexes. ”We also have Vintage Estate designed for medium\low income earners as well over 500 two-bedroom and three-bedroom bungalows in Karu.
”There are other single projects that we have done within the city, Zuma Mall, and our high-profile properties in Maitama. We are making our little mark in Abuja in terms of property development and we are still willing to do much more”, Olaleke said.
Sun City, according to him, began sometimes in 2003, with its first phase which accommodates about 450 houses commissioned in 2005.
”Between 2005 and now we have done numerous other one, two and three-bedroom bungalows, and block of flats. We have medium, high, and standard duplexes. We also have four-bedroom duplexes sitting on 700 square meters”, he said.
The company has already developed schools – Blooms, Blooms Academy – that are running and a very massive hospital, Mayfield Specialist Hospital.
Adding to the company’s architectural splendour are well-paved roads and underground drains. ”When we talk about estate development or city infrastructure the quality of infrastructure is key.
”So, I will say aside from the various house lives that we have and the individual design and facilities that we have provided inside of each of the house, I think our key selling point is the quality of infrastructure that we have put up.
”We don’t have cables flying with poles flowing inside of this place, all of our electricity networks are underground cable, so that gives a good view of our products. It is an added boost to our selling points.”
Former FCT Minister and currently Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, commissioned Adkan’s Model City consisting of over 400 house in 2003.
On a parting shot he said, ”we encourage people to drive into our estates because they are existing. Nothing convinces one than seeing what s/he is bidding for physically.
”We have a very robust website, adkanservices.com.ng where we interact with people, and on our WhatsApp handle.”
