His Excellency Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum Mni GCON(Niger) this morning received the management of The Federal morgage bank of Nigeria.
The MD/CEO Arch. Ahmed Musa Dangiwa stated in his address that, the FMBN has acknowledged the efforts of his Excellency and have on arrival toured through the numerous commendable projects executed by the Zulum Administration. He further stated that, the FMBN has embarked on execution of various projects and is willing to slot in more towards the provision of Mortgages to enable affordable housing at low intrest rates to the people.
The MD/CEO appealed to the state government to buy off the pridelake estates along Bama road and that the FMBN is willing to acquire some of the houses constructed by the government to pay off to enable the government to execute more.
In his remarks Governor Zulum stated that, the Government will work with the FMBN to achieve the provison of affordable housing to the civil Servants in the state, especially for teachers and health workers across the 27 local governments
