A fast growing real estate firm that is championing the cause of low cost housing provision in Nigeria, Mullard Fullard Foundation (MFF) Housing Nig. Ltd, has said this year’s Abuja International Housing Show (AIHS), which is the 15th in the series, was special to it in the sense that the event provided the opportunity for the company to showcase the cheapest of low cost housing it is now providing for Nigerians, even as it marked the completion of 1,000 housing units of various categories.
The 15th AIHS which held from Monday, July 26 through Thursday, July 29, 2021 recorded tens of thousands participants, including over 300 exhibitors, and investors, from Nigeria and the international community.
The Head, Marketing and Communication, MFF Housing, Mr John Olugbemi, said, “We are so excited about this year’s exhibition on the show because apart from the fact that we are celebrating the our N1 million home that will be on offer for Nigerians, especially the at the lowest rung of the income ladder, we are also marking the completion of 1,000 units of housing at its site in Masaka, Nasarawa State.”
He said the company has other sets of affordable houses currently on offer with prices ranging from N2.8 million, urging home seekers to take the opportunity as people had started keying into it already.
“We are here this year to sell off our 248 housing units, a project funded by one of our foreign partners, and I can tell you people have started keying into it already.
“We have different styles and sizes of apartment comprising studio apartment, one-bedroom, one-bedroom expanded to 2, and so on. The most important thing is that you can pay over a period of time, upto 2, 3, and even 5 years,” he explained.
Explaining the core objective and focus of MFF Housing, Olugbemi said, “Basically, we are developers of low cost housing, and we have been operating for over 15 years in the Masaka area of Nasarawa State, building houses that are ordinary people on the streets can afford.
“We believe that every Nigeria should have access basically to simple, descent and affordable housing,” he said, adding that in 2019, the company won award for affordable housing by Centre for Affordable Housing Finance in Africa (CAHF).
