Edo State Government has warned property developers against erecting structures, without obtaining building plan permit from the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development.
The Permanent Secretary in the ministry, Chris Abode, on Thursday in an online statement, said that violation of the extant town planning laws and regulations would not be tolerated.
He said the government was determined to administer appropriate sanctions, in accordance with the laws.
Abode urged errant developers to discontinue construction work on sites and submit building plan applications to his ministry for consideration and approval.
