iBUILD Global, a software development company concerned with closing the gap in affordable housing production says Nigeria’s housing demand is vastly higher than what is being built.
The company entered Nigeria in August 2018, and quickly established a joint venture partnership for West Africa.
A series of government and institutional meetings earlier confirmed a solid foundation of interest and early commitments from important stakeholders and key partners.
With a population of 230 million, Nigeria appears to be playing a major role in establishing innovative trends and technological advancements.
The affordable housing crisis in Nigeria is acute and iBUILD’s presence is bringing hope and a renewed effort toward collaboration among stakeholders.
There is much, much work to do and iBUILD creates a path toward the igniting of the construction industry from the ground up and developers, both large and small, are able to benefit.
According to the company on its website, ‘’most outstanding in Nigeria however, is the size of its population and the growing demand for housing that is affordable for the majority. iBUILD® is the perfect solution for activating the construction marketplace and creating a new ecosystem of connectivity and transparency across the entire supply chain: lenders, developers, architects, contractors, workers and suppliers are all important stakeholders in the ecosystem.
‘’Growing capacity of the workforce and ensuring all skill sets are proportionately represented will maximise large scale housing construction output while at the same time, activating a groundswell of activity at the citizen level; creating a massive number of individual housing construction projects and creating many more jobs than were available before.’’
