Nasarawa State House of Assembly has passed into law a bill for a law to establish the Nasarawa state mortgage board to regulate mortgages, foreclosure, and enforcement in real property and for connected purposes.
Speaker of the House, Ibrahim Balarabe announced the passage of the bill into law after Hon Tanko Tunga; the Majority Leader of the House moved a motion for the passage of the bill into law.
Housing news gathered it was seconded by Hon Luka Iliya Zhekaba, the Deputy Minority Leader of the House during the House proceedings yesterday in Lafia.
The speaker said the law will guarantee the safety of Mortgages, regulate all Mortgages, for foreclosure, and enforcement in real properties.
