The Chief Executive Officer of Eximia Reality Limited Mr. Hakeem Ogunniran, today unveiled the newly completed housing project, THE MEWS, located at the Katampe area of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
The unveiling of THE MEWS housing project comes after the successful completion of all units of the project as mapped out by the project management team, a collaboration between Trio Nominees and Eximia Realty.
While expressing delight on the completion and unveiling of THE MEWS project, the CEO of Eximia Reality Limited, who is also the Chairman, Trio Nominees Limited Mr. Hakeem Ogunniran stated that the company had been working assiduously to redefine to the entire landscape of building by adding value to the Real Estate sector, stating that there are other projects nearing completion in different parts of the country.
“This company was launched a year and four months ago and we are set to change the narrative and redefine the entire landscape and to do what people thought was impossible in this industry. When we launched Eximia, we said our ambition was to deliver five thousand housing units in five years and we have started. We have three major projects currently and we are creating other products to ensure that we have a sustainable framework to deliver as we have promised.”
While commenting on how long THE MEWS project took to be completed, Ogunniran said,
“For this project, we have collaborated with Trio Nominees Limited and we have managed to deliver the project within so short a time. To all our customers who have subscribed to this project, we have been able to deliver even ahead of their expectations.”
The Eximia Reality boss however highlighted some of the challenges faced during the project to include high cost of land, cost of perfection of title, problem of long term funding, competition amongst others, calling on the government to look to these challenges and help provide incentives for developers so as to foster the building of affordable houses.
While giving his goodwill message at the unveiling event, the Chief Executive Officer, FESADEB Media group and convener of the Abuja Housing International Show AIHS, Barrister Festus Adebayo congratulated the project developer for the giant stride and reassured the industry of his undying commitment towards supporting the growth of the sector in order to see more great feats realised by stakeholders.
Adebayo stated that, “For us at Abuja International Housing Show, we will continue and will not relent in promoting all matters that will lead to the provision of affordable housing to Nigerian citizens. This is our commitment and the career we have chosen, and by God’s grace, we will not fail.”
The unveiling event was also attended by top figures in the housing sector including the Chief Executive Officer, Nigerian Mortgage Refinance Company NMRC, Mr. Kehinde Ogundimu, President, Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria REDAN, Rev Ugochukwu Chime, Chief Executive Officer, Innovative Risk and Investment Solutions Limited, Mr Charles Iyangete amongst other prominent personalities.
