The Chairman Board of Trustees, Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Engr Emeka Eze is expected to preside over the 16th Africa International Housing Show (AIHS) opening ceremony slated for 25th July, 2022 at the International Conference Center (ICC), Abuja.
This was disclosed by the coordinator of AIHS, Festus Adebayo on Friday in Abuja.
The Africa’s largest and construction expo which holds from 25th to 28th July will be declared open by the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbanjo with the Honourable Minister for Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola as the Chief Host.
The opening ceremony will feature an award presentation to honour notable personalities who have contributed immensely to the growth of the nation’s housing sector.
The 16th AIHS, with the theme: ‘Housing For All – The Role of Government in Creating an Effective Enabling Environment’ will incorporate dialogue with political leaders, climate change session with an emphasis on green housing, Proptech session, finance discussions, exhibition, deal-room meetings, and other activities.
AIHS 2022 is expected to witness over 20,000 attendees from more than 15 nations of the world and over 400 exhibitors spanning mortgage, real estate, home appliances, among others.
