The Africa International Housing Show (AIHS) has congratulated Saratu Umar on her reappointment as Executive Secretary/Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) for another five-year term.
The congratulatory message is contained in a statement signed by the coordinator of AIHS, Festus Adebayo in Abuja.
According to Adebayo, Umar is a well-known committed individual, a champion of transparency, and someone who fervently supports the ideas that exemplify the work of NIPC on sustainable investment and national development.
The statement reads: “On behalf of the Board Members of the AIHS, may I convey our sincere congratulations on the well-deserved reappointment of Saratu Umar as Executive Secretary/Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission.
“We are not surprised by your selection, which is a clear testament to your stellar track record and accomplishments during the many years you have been serving at the NIPC in a number of strategic capacities.
“May I conclude by wishing you health, tremendous success, happiness and a long-life of service to NIPC and to the Country at large. I trust you will remain a lifelong supporter of housing development in Nigeria.
“We also look forward to greater collaboration between our two organizations in the interest of our country and we do hope that you channel more efforts into promoting housing development as well as attracting more investors into the nation’s housing sector.”
The reappointment of Umar was approved by President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday according to a statement signed by the Senior Special Assistant to the President, Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu.
