Aborisade Oluwaseyi, a 50-year-old land agent, was sentenced to 24 years in prison by an Osun state High Court in Ede for unlawful property sale.
The state prosecutor, Dele Akintayo, informed the court that one Adekunle Beyioku purchased two acres of land situated at Ayedun community, Arulogun extension, Ede, and asked his friend (the convict) to monitor the land while he traveled abroad in 2016.
He said the convict sold the land without the consent of the owner and thereby committed an offence contrary to the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Related Offences Act, 2006.
The prosecutor called four witnesses and tendered 11 exhibits before the court.

She subsequently sentenced the convict on each count ranging from one to seven years with an option of N1 million.
