The CEO and Managing Director of 13th Abuja International Housing Show, Festus Adebayo has said that the show is not a talk show, but a medium to proffer practical solutions the problems in the housing sector with far reaching effects across the continent.
Festus Adebayo made this known during the opening ceremony of the biggest housing and construction event in Africa on Tuesday at International Conference Center, Abuja.
The Show is currently hosting local and international dignitaries to deliberate on the way forward for the housing sector and exhibit latest trends in the industry.
According to Festus Adebayo, the journey leading up to the event has been long and worth every effort.
He said, “As always, we are here to benefit from our experiences and knowledge about how to do better and reach our collective goals in this critical sector of the economy.
As indicative from our theme this year, it is important for us to seek out alternative approaches to financing our dreams of providing every man with decent and affordable shelter. Now is the time to let in new brilliant ideas. We have confidence in our speakers and participants to make this year’s show a very inspiring one.
“We are out to realise a housing sector that will not only shelter man, but contribute to GDP, provide jobs and economic opportunities,” he said.
He also urged Nigerians to make the most of the event through networking, exhibition and affordable home ownership.
